Intermittent congestion expected on Interstate 94 near St. John's/Collegeville Sept. 24

Intermittent congestion expected on Interstate 94 near St. John’s/Collegeville Sept. 24

ST CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists traveling Interstate 94 near the St. John’s/County Road 159 exit in Collegeville, located west of St. Cloud, should expect heavy traffic and intermittent congestion Saturday, Sept. 24 during the annual St. John’s versus St. Thomas football game.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation and State Patrol urge motorists in the Collegeville area to:

·       Be patient

·       Expect delays

·       Prepare for slow and go/stop and go traffic on I-94 and local roads

Motorists attending the game should also plan alternate routes and consider staggering travel times to avoid the before-game and after-game rushes.
